Employee Benefits for Small Businesses

Business owners are often surprised to learn about the small group regulations surrounding employee benefits. Did you know you can offer benefits to as little as 2 employees? Employers can take advantage of small group rates for medical, dental, vision, and other ancillary coverage through all the major insurance carriers in Maine.

   Mariah and John Condon.

Our small group team works with groups of 2-49 employees, providing various plan options and rates for comparison. This includes HMO, POS, PPO, and High-Deductible Plans. Don’t know what any of this means? You are not alone and that is why we recommend working with a benefits broker! We can help you navigate these different options and help you determine what will be the best fit for your business and employees.

The process to look at plans is simple and straightforward. You provide us with census data including your employee and dependent names, birthdates, and zip codes. Our small group team reaches out to each of the carriers and puts together a customized marketing analysis of the options available to you. We review these details with you including premiums, cost-sharing levels, networks, prescription coverage, and more. If you are interested in moving forward with a certain plan, we will work with you to complete the necessary paperwork with your selected carrier(s).

In addition to providing a marketing analysis of the benefits available, we also offer our customers a host of value-added services including:

If you are considering offering new benefits, or currently offering benefits and want to compare prices/value, please contact me directly.  I am happy to provide a complete marketing analysis/review of all available employee benefit plans including medical, dental, life, disability, and vision at no cost or obligation.  All of the services we provide are at no cost to you or your employees.
