We are very excited to announce the promotion of our colleague Kim Mancini to Large Group Benefit Analyst at Acadia Benefits. Kim joined the team last winter as our Office Manager and has shown remarkable dedication and a keen eye for detail in keeping things running smoothly. Kim shared; “I have enjoyed working at Acadia Benefits, getting to know everyone, and have been impressed by our company culture. I appreciate the work-life balance that our leadership promotes. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that our downtown waterfront location is also a pleasant bonus.”
While keeping us on track and organized, Kim has also taken the initiative to learn the ins and outs of our business. We are excited for her to use the knowledge she has gained working with our team and feel she is perfectly positioned for this new role. “I’ve learned about the renewal, sales, and marketing processes. I also became very familiar with cybersecurity and compliance best practices, which will be important in my new role. I love that our industry continues to evolve and I know there is still a lot to learn! I am a current graduate student in Project Management at the Roux Institute and I’m excited to bring some of the tools and techniques I have been learning at school to Acadia Benefits.”
As our Large Group Benefit Analyst, Kim will be responsible for preparing and analyzing benefit plan options for our customers. This includes compiling data for new or renewal policies and supporting our Account Management team with various projects. Kim will also work with and build relationships with our local carrier reps. “I look forward to assuming a crucial role in our large group process. I am very excited to get to know and work with our carrier partners. At school I am enrolled in a Business Analysis class and will likely be choosing that as my concentration for my Master’s. This education will complement the work I will be doing in my new role.”
We are looking to fill the role of Office Manager (part-time), and you can find additional details about the position linked here. As Kim has successfully demonstrated, this position offers career advancement opportunities and is a terrific way to learn about our business.
Thank you, Kim, for your commitment to Acadia Benefits and we are excited for all you will do in your new role. Please join us in congratulating Kim!
