Meet Joseph Cyr-Brophy, New Account Manager at Acadia Benefits, an IMA Company

Please join us in welcoming Joseph Cyr-Brophy to the Acadia Benefits, an IMA Company team! As an Account Manager, Joseph supports our customers with the day-to-day service of their employee benefit programs, working closely with customers, carriers, and employees to resolve issues, coordinate plan updates, and ensure a smooth experience for all. He brings strong energy, a great work ethic, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning—all of which have already made a positive impact. We’re excited to welcome him to our 50 Portland Pier office in Portland, Maine.
Why did you join the Acadia Benefits, an IMA Company team?
“I joined the team because I wanted to be part of a company that genuinely cares about its customers and employees. I’ve always admired Acadia Benefits’ strong reputation in the employee benefits industry. It’s essential for employees to understand their benefits, and I look forward to getting more involved in helping make that happen—so people can feel confident and informed about their coverage.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I enjoy spending time with family and friends—whether that’s golfing, walking, playing disc golf or pickleball, or just relaxing at the lake.”
What else do you want people to know about you?
“I was adopted from Kathmandu, Nepal and have lived in Maine since I was three. I’m from Falmouth and love being by the ocean. I earned my bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Maine in Orono. I love Maine—despite the cold winters—and I’m excited to start my career with Acadia Benefits, an IMA Company!”
Joseph is eager to learn all he can about the insurance and employee benefits industry and is looking forward to connecting with our customers, carrier partners, and others in the field. He’s already jumped in with enthusiasm, and we’re confident he has a bright future ahead.
